The Indian Freedom Spy and Courier Service

The Indian Freedom Spy and Courier
The indian freedom spy and courier services was started by an ex- British east  india company man in Feb 23 1920. That to by mistake, his brother unlike him, was an freedom extremist and was linked to many big names. The conversation started with the extremist, Rahul talking to the brother, Aryan, about the freedom struggle ( both were drunk at the time),
Rahul asked, “If you were part of the freedom movement ... what would you add to it?”
“I would add a little more fighting spirit.. but seriously I  would start a spy and courier agency, so the freedom fighters can know what the enemy is doing and plan ahead. Then have a private mailing system, so only they can be connected and the government doesn’t  find the plans and raid everything before...yah!’’
Rahul then went the following day to the congress, to propose the idea, and they loved it. However there was a problem, they needed a leader for this group, so they asked Aryan. He thought about it for 3 weeks and went up for the offer.
One of the most daring stories is when Subash Chandra Bose sent a mail to Gandhiji, when he got rejected by Hitler.  The deliverer was a farm boy from Punjab, His name was Bobby,  but looked like an european, and could read, write and speak fifteen to twenty languages fluently including hindi and english.
From Berlin to Delhi will take about 9hrs and 45mins with a connecting flight, but he got strict orders to get there in a week or two. So that the british quit finding the messenger.
The Nazi party gave Bobby the passports of the countries, he was going through.
From Berlin, Bobby had to catch a flight to Zurich as a immigrant. There Bobby met another messenger and gave him the fake message.
What ever you do don’t go through Turkey or Saudi Arabia, and try to go from British colonies.”said Bobby.
“Okie dokie, Boss”, Said the other messenger.
From there he took a flight to Istanbul, Turkey, Bobby was disguised as a news reporter for  “The Zurich times”. Wherever he went he kept the mail in a photo frame and the picture was a sunset in Sydney, it was in a briefcase. In the flight while he was talking to a passenger. There came an announcement, the captain said , “This flight has been hijacked don’t try to act funny or else you will be shot without hesitation.”
Then came a sound of metal going through flesh. Then came another announcement  the person said, “ Hi I am your new captain, and I am gonna make you pay if you do anything funny!!”
Two seconds went by ... and it was Chaos. There was another passenger who turned out to be with the terrorist.
So Bobby knock that person out saying in german, “You make my job really hard, if I was in the military I would have killed and I was.”
Saying that he shot the person.
Then he asked the whole flight, “Does anybody know how to fly a plane.”
Three people raised their hands. He nodded and told them to meet at the back, with a brave flight attendant. So they made a plan to send the flight attendant in first, if he survive they throw few knifes at the terrorist. Then make contact with ground staff.
So the flight attendant went first, and nearly got shot and a second later he threw a knife straight at the terrorist’s heart. It killed him.  The other three  came in and covered the body and took it out from the cockpit.
Luckily the co-pilot was still alive and he contacted the ground staff, so one of them volunteered to be the co-pilot.
When the flight landed in Istanbul, the police came and caught people they  suspected.  Including Bobby, just for inquiry purposes.
Even though he was just there for ‘inquiry purposes’ he was kept there for 2 days, on the second day he was really pissed.
He called the constable and asked him, “ Why am I here, isn’t your inquiry over?”
“Yes and you are gonna be released today.” Saying that the constable released  him.
After that, he went to a local hotel and rested for 5 hours or so. The Bobby meet another messenger and gave him a fake message, “Whatever you do don’t go from Saudi Arabia... and remember to go through British colonies if you can.”
From there onwards he became an officer for a merchant ship going through the Mediterranean sea.  Nothing unusual happened and it took about 2 day to cross over to the Jeddah Islamic Seaport on 40 knots. But there were few stray rockets missing them in the journey.
After they reached the port, it was an off day for the navy men and the last day for Bobby.  In his mind he was always thinking about the letter and was it important  for him to read it.
As his arabic wasn’t really good, he acted as a  mute and deaf person. He took a flight from Jeddah Airport to Riyadh which took him about 1hr and 55 mins.
Even he got out of plane through the immigration and everything, he got into a brawl with some drunk person who abusing him just because he was mute.
He was about to react, but then he saw the police around so he quickly left.
There were many Indian spice traders in the city, and he knew most of them. He went Rampal Prasad’s house as they were close friend when they were in school.
“Oh, My friend life is getting harder and harder, laws for imported food. My business is at its lowest point and I may go home with you”, said Rampal.
“You know I work .. for the congress, right.”, whispered Bobby.
“Yah, my mom told me, maybe I can help you or the congress.” whispered back Rampal.
“Ok, I will recommend you.” whispered Bobby.
“5 days gone, 2 days left will he make it”, thought Subash Chandra Bose and the other messengers.
That night after few hours of rest the two of them left for Delhi, the flight felt more than  3hr and 50mins journey because they stopped twice in the middle in Bahrain and Qatar. The flight came 3 hours late and the come refunded everybody.
The following hour, 3 pm (IST) he went to see Gandhiji a house because he was under house arrest, he went in a disguise of a punjabi reporter.
“Hello Gandhiji, I am Ram Singh over here for an interview with you, in private.” said Bobby.
“Yes I have been expecting you for a long time, what took so long?”, asked Gandhiji.
Bobby narrated the whole story, and passed the message and left as soon as he could.
