Queenstown is known for it’s adventure themed activities, and the most KIWI and original one of them all is BUNGY JUMPING. Yes, it is true that bungy jumping was invented in NZ, on top of that it was invented in Queenstown.
Here are the must things to do in Queenstown for everybody!
Here are the must things to do in Queenstown for everybody!
Bungy Jumping
So take a walk down the memory lane of its history in the Kawarau Bungy Center and have a splash in the small stream below. If you aren’t an adrenaline junky don’t worry there's plenty you can do at the OG spot. You can do the Kawarau Zip ride, I honestly think it is a greater than the actual attraction as it 30m long zipride and you can relax all the way there. If you are into more adventure related memories, Queenstown has you covered!
KJet
The greatest adventure that you can ever do in NZ is the Kjet, as it is very exciting and unique and you will feel queasy at the end. But it is worth it for an amazing boat experience that you can only do in the New Zealand. Now, you might wonder why this is so unique ito NZ? The small boat is packed with 2 V6 engines, which basically makes the small boat into a full blown roller coaster on Wakatipu river! With full 360 degrees and more crazier turns, this ride makes the world go upside down and down side up again and again. Don’t worry there will be time for breathers between those killer turns!
Helicopter ride
Now after a very stressful hour of doing 360 degrees, I think best way you can calm down is to go on a beautiful helicopter ride. Which we have talked about on the blog before. With stunning tour of the nearby areas, which includes the graceful glaciers and Mount Cook.
Scenic Lake Wakatipu Tour
Lake Wakatipu is the longest lake in NZ, and with stunning views from all around it is a must for everybody. And don’t worry, there are any twist and turns, but be on the lookout for a beautiful catch of the day and keep your cameras in your hands. You will be able to get up close to the Remarkables ranges, which are very remarkable. And if you come on the right time, you might just see the British Royals. And this might remind you of many scenes from the Lord of the Rings, this includes the Amon Hen. Which makes Lake Wakatipu a win-win for everybody.
